Kamila Mróz
Glass artist whose practice merges traditional craft with experimental physics and contemporary art. Graduate of the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (Poland). Working with Plasma Art, a unique technique at the intersection of glassmaking, science, and artistic expression, Mróz is the first artist in Poland to explore this medium on an artistic level, pioneering a field that expands the possibilities of glass as both material and metaphor. Her works have been exhibited internationally – in France, Germany, Bulgaria, Ireland, Italy, Denmark and the USA, as well as in Poland, establishing her as a leading voice in experimental glass art. Her flameworking techniques create delightful and often unexpected effects. She is fascinated by the transformation of cold solid glass into a molten state, as it offers unique opportunities of sculpting.
