Mateusz Wiewiorowski is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary sculpture. Educated at Design Academy Eindhoven and Chelsea College of Art & Design in London, he further developed his approach through collaborations with master craftsmen across Europe, North Africa, and Asia.
His work explores the relationship between creation and destruction, nature and technology, using materials such as wood, copper, obsidian, and stone. Drawing on international experience—including projects in Mexico, Los Angeles, and Norway—he creates sculptures that balance geometric abstraction with organic forms.
Based in western Norway, Wiewiorowski works from his studio in the Lysefjord region, where he continues to develop sculptural works inspired by natural processes, material transformation, and the dialogue between human intervention and the forces that shape our world.
