Homo Faber 2026: An Island of Light, the international exhibition of contemporary craftsmanship held at Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice from 1–30 September 2026.

Zofia Sobolewska Ursic and Katarzyna Harasym will participate in Homo Faber 2026: An Island of Light, the fourth edition of the international exhibition dedicated to contemporary craftsmanship, presented by the Michelangelo Foundation under the artistic direction of Es Devlin.

Held at Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice from 1–30 September 2026, the exhibition brings together outstanding artisans and makers from around the world.
The exhibition will feature Ursic's La Nature est un temple (2025), alongside Katarzyna Harasym's Neocrystals (2025), a new set of three glass works that expands her ongoing Neocrystals series.
Inspired by the Venetian lagoon, An Island of Light explores the relationship between light, materials, and the human hand. Through immersive exhibition design incorporating water, mirrors, and movement, Es Devlin creates a narrative that highlights craftsmanship as both a cultural heritage and a contemporary creative practice. Together, the participating artists present a global panorama of exceptional making, celebrating the transformative potential of material, skill, and imagination.
As Ambassador for Homo Faber, Anna Woźniak-Starak continues to support and promote the excellence of Polish craftsmanship on the international stage.
