For this edition, Craftica will present works of seven contemporary Polish artists. Five of them, already known to Craftica family – Anna Bera, Cyryl Zakrzewski, Formsophy, Paweł Jasiewicz and Zofia Sobolewska Ursic, and two of them are joining us for the first time – Sonia Dubois and Palucki Studio. The gallery’s presentation will highlight the diversity and strength of Polish craftsmanship today, ranging from sculptural furniture and expressive lighting to refined functional objects, each rooted in tradition yet shaped by a distinctly modern sensibility.
Craftica’s curation focuses on the exchange between heritage techniques and experimental form. The works on view will explore materiality, tactility, and narrative, demonstrating how artisanal knowledge can be reinterpreted through contemporary design language. The exhibition presented by Craftica Gallery, Structure of Forces, brings together minimalist works shaped by an attentive dialogue with the forces of nature. Wood, clay, metal, glass, leather and light are treated as living matter, marked by time, gravity, temperature and touch. Through refined forms and restrained gestures, the artists reveal transformation, balance and tension, allowing material to speak with quiet intensity. This tension becomes the unifying thread of the exhibition where material is not merely a medium, but a protagonist.
